Terms & Conditions By authorizing service with All Around Marine Service, the customer agrees to the following terms:
Estimates & Authorization
All estimates are based on visible conditions at the time of inspection and are intended as approximations. Labor estimates may be calculated using industry-standard flat rate guides (including Spader) to provide a projected cost and timeframe. Actual labor is billed hourly and may vary depending on real-world conditions encountered during service. Additional issues discovered during disassembly or repair may require further authorization before proceeding.
Labor Rates & Service Call
A non-refundable $100 service call fee applies to all mobile visits. Labor is billed at a rate of $160 per hour, unless otherwise quoted. Quoted flat-rate jobs are estimates only and do not guarantee final labor cost. Additional labor charges may apply due to:
● Corrosion or saltwater exposure
● Seized or damaged fasteners/components
● Prior improper repairs
● Limited access conditions
Service Call & Travel Fees
A non-refundable $100 service call fee applies to all mobile service visits and includes travel within a 10-mile radius of Ocean City, NJ. Travel beyond this radius is billed at $1.25 per mile (one way). Tolls and other travel-related expenses may be charged as incurred.
Multiple Visits & Return Trips
Some repairs require multiple visits due to parts availability, repair complexity, or additional issues discovered during service. The initial service call covers the first visit only. Additional service call and/or travel charges may apply for return trips when:
● Parts must be ordered
● Additional repairs are approved after initial service
● The job requires multiple stages to complete
Return visits required due to workmanship or installation-related issues will not incur additional service call charges.
Parts & Materials
Parts used may be OEM or high-quality aftermarket equivalents based on availability and application. Customer-supplied parts:
● Are installed at customer’s risk
● Carry no labor warranty
● May affect overall repair reliability
Parts pricing is subject to change based on supplier availability.
Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing. Accepted payment methods include credit/debit cards and other approved forms of payment. A processing fee or surcharge may be applied to card transactions in accordance with applicable laws and payment processor policies (such as Worldpay). Late or unpaid balances may be subject to additional fees.
Warranty
Labor is warrantied for 30 days from the date of service unless otherwise specified in writing. Warranty does not cover: ● Pre-existing conditions
● Corrosion-related failures
● Lack of maintenance
● Failures of unrelated components
No warranty is provided on customer-supplied parts.
Diagnostic & Repair Disclaimer
Marine repair work involves exposure to harsh environments and components that may be heavily corroded or previously repaired. Disassembly may reveal hidden damage or additional failures not visible during initial inspection. Customer acknowledges:
● Additional labor and parts may be required
● Initial estimates may change based on findings
● Some components may fail during removal due to condition
Limitation of Liability All Around Marine Service is not responsible for:
● Damage resulting from pre-existing conditions
● Environmental wear (corrosion, saltwater exposure, etc.)
● Failure of unrelated or aging components
Scheduling & Conditions Appointments may be rescheduled due to weather, unsafe working conditions, or unforeseen delays.
